Transwest Timber has been a leader in helicopter logging in the BC Interior since 1991. Our experienced crews and fuel efficient aircraft have allowed us to become one of the most cost effective Heli-logging companies in BC.
Our fleet of three Bell 214B helicopters allows us to insure production deadlines and we can provide all subcontracting if necessary. The lift capability of the Bell 214B is approximately 7,000-8,000 lbs (or about 4 cubic meters). Our experience ranges from clearcut to select logging, and we operate with ground crew or grapple. Some of our crew is EMS trained and all are fully experienced in, and aware of, quality issues.
